TriMet's MAX system shut down for the entire day

PORTLAND (AP)- The Max light rail system will not be running at all today.

Officials were hoping to have it going by this afternoon, but snow and ice on the tracks put a halt to that.

Shuttle buses are being used instead. For the latest route information, head to TriMet's Web site.

Yesterday, the MAX was having problems but some of the trains were running at least partial routes.
